At Earth Systems, our energy and carbon experience covers a wide range of sectors including hydropower, bioenergy, oil and gas, mining, infrastructure and land management and forestry.

We understand that the management of greenhouse gas emissions, the utilisation of waste resources and the development of alternative energy supplies can result in reduced operating costs and environmental benefits. Our specialist knowledge and hands on capabilities in this area allow us to provide integrated sustainable solutions for the design, assessment and implementation of energy and emission reduction initiatives, energy generation and waste-to-energy technologies.

We can assist our clients take advantage of the opportunities presented by the low carbon economy through nationally and internationally recognised carbon schemes such as the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Australia’s Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI). We assist in meeting the compliance requirements of mandatory initiatives in Australia such as the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) and the Energy Intensive Trade Exposed (EITE) Assistance through Partial Exemption Certificates (PEC).
